Serpentine Outfall Inspection Works

Marine and Civil Diving Services Ltd were contracted by Vinci Facilities Ltd to provide diving services within the Serpentine Reservoir, Hyde Park London. The dive team were required to install a flange plate to the outfall pipe, allowing confined space entry and inspection of the chambers.

Dive team cleared debris from trash screen and install flange plate on outlet headwall pipe. The assisted Vinci in de-watering the penstock chamber. Once drained, the confined space entry and inspection works were completed. The dive team then filled the chamber and pipe with water and removed the flange plates.
